Hi there,
I am a Fine Artist, come illustrator, come ball of nervous energy enhanced by a mild caffeine addiction. After the intense tornado that is University, I went traveling along the East coast of Australia, where I experienced some amazing things, like it is possible to have sun multiple days in a row, the Seventh Wonder of the World-The Great Barrier Reef, Rainforests, Mountains and extraordinary animals. I even had an incredible opportunity where I stayed and volunteered at an animal sanctuary, I journeyed 10,000 miles to discover that goats are spiteful and incredibly vindictive.
I’m now focusing on developing my graphic media skills, however the call back to watercolour has all the subtlety of a smoke alarm, whispering sweet nothings to me when a graphic piece isn’t going to plan. I justify my relapse back to what I know by trying to constantly move forward, drawing inspiration from each piece without the restrictions of a set media. As Pablo Picasso supposedly once said “Inspiration exists, but it must find us working”.
